The peeling paint looks very similar to our now peeling deck. The stain we bought was meant to last 5-7 years but it has not lasted 3 – perhaps sitting under all that snow this past winter did not help.
Don’t you just love products like that? We had a deck that required so much maintenance I finally cut it up into small bits and had it trucked away! — JG

I was captivated by the weathered paint and wood and the interplay of light and color. The steps are so simple but I like the line across the wall.
